Most Beautiful Hikes in Malta 🇲🇹❤️🌍 SAVE for your next hiking adventure outdoors on the Maltese Islands 🌴 Għajn Tuffieħa or 'Riviera Bay' is located in the northwest of the main island of Malta, and rests between Golden Bay to the north and Qarraba and Ġnejna Bays to the south. 🤩 This is a spectacular area for hiking along the ridge line or down in the valley. I suggest early morning in the summertime, as it gets very hot and there is little to no shade. ☀️ Exploring this area in the winter and spring seasons is ideal due to the desert flowers and plants in bloom during this time, making the scenery much greener. 💚 There are almost 200 steps leading from the parking lot down to the shoreline, so take your time and be mindful of carrying heavy bags if you're heading to the beach. 💦 There is a restaurant down below, as well as toilets, and showers are available for a cost. Please take with you whatever you bring, and make sure to leave no trace behind. 🌱 This is one of my favorite areas in Malta, so please respect the landscape, the beach, and the people around you.
