Hidden Treasures in Malta! 🇲🇹🌍 SAVE for your next outdoor adventure on the Maltese islands. If you like islands, outdoors, hiking and interesting places, you're in the right place! 😉 The area known as 'Xemxija Trails' (pronounced 'shem-shia') is located in the village of Xemxija and in the locality of 'Saint Paul's Bay'. You can begin exploring from either Mellieħa (north of the area) or park in Xemxija and hike along the 'Heritage Trails' that surround the woods. 🥾 This is a great place to get outdoors and explore the caves, or punic tombs, find some shade from the sun or have a picnic. 🧺 You can swim, snorkel, or cool off in the nearby 'Xemxija Bay' or continue hiking back to Mellieħa to any one of the sandy beaches further north. 💦 Whatever you do, please remember to leave no trace behind and respect the fragile nature of the island. 🌴 More sites along this trail to come!
