Living On An Island! 🌴 My favorite thing about living in Malta. 🇲🇹❤️🌍 The best thing about living on an island is being surrounded by water and getting to choose which area to spend the day. 🤔 When it's hot outside, my favorite place to be is in the sea, but going to the same beach or area over and over can get boring. 🥱 After almost a decade on the Maltese islands, I've learned that variety is important, and to choose the best cove for the weather that day. ☀️ In the north of Malta, you will find most of all of the sandy beaches on the main island: Għadira Bay, Ġnejna, Għajn Tuffieha, Golden Bay, Paradise Bay, Armier... plus, several areas to just snorkel and spend the day exploring, like Ċirkewwa and Anchor Bay. 💦 Island Tip: Choose where to go based on the wind that day. If you prefer waves, travel to a cove directly facing the wind. Or, for a calm swimming or snorkeling day, choose a bay that provides shelter. ⛱️ Each beach has places to get something to eat or drink, or pack your own food and have a picnic outside.
