Hiking a Secret Location in Malta 🇲🇹🌍 Exploring the Maltese Islands means there’s always a secret around every corner, and in the village of Mosta, it’s no different. 👀 In an area known as 'Wied il-Ghasel’ lies a small chapel in a cave that holds a legend lost to time. Accounts vary as to the date and origin of the name, but it’s called ‘The Chapel of Saint Paul the Hermit’. 🤔 Even though the original chapel dates back to at least the 16th century, it eventually fell into disrepair and several times due to its difficult location. Luckily, now it has been restored to its former glory and is available for all to see that wish to make the journey. 🥾 The hike from the street level into the valley is a beautiful way to approach the chapel from below. Make sure to take your time and explore everywhere. 🤩 Look out for hidden caves and the remnants of a section of the famous 'Victoria Lines' too. (check my channel for that video). 👈 Winter and spring time are the best seasons to enjoy the island at its greenest, so make sure to get outside and enjoy the natural beauty and historic sites as best you can, before it gets warmer. ☀️ | Wideo | Malta Wakacje
