A restaurant at the end of the pier in St. Paul's Bay — tables over the water, lobster the size of a helmet. Squire Piotr fought with tongs and won.
At the very end of the pier in St. Paul's Bay, as far from shore as you can walk without swimming, stands a restaurant surrounded by water on three sides. The Order classifies it as the Maritime Delicacies Armoury. prowadzący arrived here surely by design — and ordered what the sea commanded. Lobster with fettuccine. Seafood soup (we suspect this contains not fruit but fish, octopus, and other creatures the squires call "monsters"). Crab linguine. Paired with Maltese wine, because on Malta one drinks Maltese wine. The tables at the pier's end hang over the water. Literally: waves are visible beneath your feet. In the evening, as the sun sets behind the Wignacourt Tower on the other side of the bay and the fishing boats (luzzu) rock on the waves, it is hard to believe this is the same sea that once brought the Apostle Paul here. Squire Piotr ordered lobster and received a creature the size of a battle helmet. He dispatched it in a single motion. The Commander conceded this was the most knightly use of tongs in centuries. TACTICAL NOTE: At the very end of the pier in St. Paul's Bay — the best tables are over the water, book ahead! Seafood is the specialty — do not order steak in a seaside restaurant, it does not befit a knight. Prices higher, but worth it for the location and quality. The Order rates: 4.5 shields out of 5. Half a shield deducted because the pier sways in the wind. But the Order does not fear the sea.
