Paradise Bay is a small sandy beach at Malta's northernmost point, near the Cirkewwa ferry terminal. Stairs down the cliff, turquoise water, view of Comino. Popular with those waiting for the ferry.
Paradise Bay is a small, sandy beach at Malta's northernmost point, just a few hundred metres from the Cirkewwa ferry terminal. Access requires descending steps cut in the cliff, but the reward is proportionate: turquoise water, yellow sand, and views of Comino with the Blue Lagoon across the channel.
Despite its small size, Paradise Bay has sunbeds, parasols, a beach bar, and toilets (in season). The water is clean and calm (the beach is sheltered from wind by cliffs). Popular with families and those waiting for the ferry to Gozo or Comino, as the terminal is literally around the corner.
In the evening, the beach offers a sunset view with Comino and Gozo in the background. The sun sinks behind Gozo, bathing the entire channel between the islands in gold. The Paradise Bay Hotel above the beach has a terrace with views.
Practical tip: Bus to Cirkewwa (line 41 or 42 from Valletta), beach 5 minutes' walk from the terminal. Sunbed about EUR 8/day. Can be combined with the Gozo ferry or a Blue Lagoon cruise. Quieter in the morning.
